Are you at the point where you want to buy a car for Uber, but can’t seem to get the list of approved Uber vehicles? In response to numerous requests for the List of Uber cars (UberX and Uber Select) in Brisbane, Australia, we put together an unofficial master list containing 224 Uber approved vehicles in Brisbane, Australia.
The list below contains the following – Uber Approved Service, Make, and Model of the Vehicle. For some of the data we marked it as N/A – meaning we could not find it, or it does not exist! Assume all cars on this list are at most 10 years old (i.e. 2006)
Note – if a car is approved for Uber Select, it is generally automatically approved to make UberX pickups (if the driver desires).

In Sydney it has Toyota Hilux as approved but not in Brisbane why is this?
The Mitsubishi Triton is approved in Brisbane so why not the new model Hilux which is a nicer ute and has a 5 star safety rating?
The last generation Hilux lacked some safety features but the new one has all what the Mitsubishi has.
Can you see if the current generation Hilux sr5 is approved in Brisbane.

So the cab company just folded in our town. Our elderly and disbaled no longer have a cab service and there are no buses or uber. On reading about signing up to become an uber driver it says vehicles can’t be over a certain age. We have a 2006 vz commodore wagon ( perfect for wheelchairs and groceries). 2017 Nissan Qashqai NTEC (wagon) is accepted for uberselect, as for uber black you need either one of this cars to qualify for uber black: Uber black cars need to have an all black exterior with black, grey or beige leather interior.Whatever type of car you pick, it generally needs to be a model from the year 2012 or newer (3 years old or newer). The type of qualifying SUVs for uber black include the Cadillac Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Infiniti QX56, Lexus LX, Lincoln Navigator L and Mercedes-Benz GL-class.The qualifying sedans for Uber black include the Audi A6 and A7, the BMW 5 series, Cadillac XTS, Infiniti Q70, Jaguar XF, Lexus GS and Mercedes-Benz E-class. Hi I AM A CURRENT uber driver partner and want to upgrade my car. I am looking at a new Mazda CX-9 touring model. I cant understand why I cant use it for uber select, It is top of the range and more luxurious than many other cars you have listed in that catagory.

Mazda CX-9 Touring is an SUV vehicle and its only approved for UberSUV. You need a sedan vehicle for UberSelect.
